Attorney for the Town

The Wheatland Attorney for the Town acts as legal counsel and adviser to the Town Supervisor, Town Departments, Town Board, and all Town volunteer boards, commissions and committees, as they work on new ordinances and policies, services, programs, and development applications to benefit Town residents. The functions of the Attorney for the Town take many forms, from assisting the community through effective ordinance preparation, drafting of leases, contracts and financial instruments and providing Town Departments with legal advice.
