Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation (RG&E) has begun the CM-6 Replacement Project (Case 18-T-0388). This project includes the installation of new 24-inch steel pipeline from the existing stations in the Town of Chili along Chili-Scottsville Rd, to the station in the Town of Caledonia along Wheatland Center Rd.
Construction is expected to progress through the spring & summer and concluded in the fall of 2021. Residents will notice construction efforts and traffic control activities which will include, (Tree Clearing, Pipe hauling, top soil stripping, trenching and welding activities etc.…) these activities will occur on or around the following roads.

2. Stottle Rd. (RT 172)
3. Union St. (RT 170)
4. Wickens Rd. (RT 137)
5. Wheatland Center Rd. (RT 174)
6. North Rd. (RT 139)
7. Scottsville Mumford Rd. (RT 383)
8. Stewart Rd.
9. Armstrong Rd.
For the safety of the workers and the public, when approaching construction zones, please be alert and courteous of workers and obey all posted traffic control devices. A map of the pipeline route is provided below.
