Proposed Water District #3 Update/Clarification
On July 9th, the Board unanimously passed a resolution to form Water District #3, pending a 30-day permissive referendum. This allowed us to submit the application for a NYS Water Infrastructure Improvement Act (WIIA) Grant. The WIIA grant application was submitted by the due date of 7/27/2026. As explained in the public hearing, the cost presented is predicated on receiving the WIIA grant and the USDA Rural Development Grant monies. If the grant monies are not awarded
